Template & Custom Design Usage

We offer:

• Professionally designed Squarespace 7.1 templates

• Fully customized Squarespace 7.1 website design services

You may use templates or custom-built sites for your own business or for clients under the license terms below.

You agree not to:

• Resell or redistribute any template, custom design, or design files

• Use any part of a template to create your own templates, products, or freebies

• Claim our templates or code as your original work

• Publicly share template content, structure, or assets (including in tutorials or courses)

• Launch a site using demo images—we provide placeholder images for inspiration only; you must replace them with your own properly licensed images

All designs, code, and associated files remain the intellectual property of Well Made Sites.

All Well Made Sites designs—whether purchased as a template or created as part of a custom build—include an unlimited-use commercial license for Squarespace client work.

You may:

• Use the design for your own business

• Use it on unlimited client projects

• Customize the design to fit each unique project

You may not:

• Resell or redistribute any part of the design

• Use any part of the design to create your own templates, frameworks, or digital products

• Share files with other designers or agencies

• Claim the layout, structure, or styling as your original template product

All template and custom design work remains the intellectual property of Well Made Sites. Unauthorized use or distribution is a violation of copyright law.

For template purchases, you will receive:

• A Squarespace contributor link to duplicate the site into your own account

• Access to Template Tutorials, external tools like the Canva Blueprint or WMS Launch Checklist, and the private Facebook group

For custom website clients, your deliverables and training materials will be shared directly during the build process. You may also receive access to supplemental assets such as the Launch Checklist or Canva Blueprint, as part of your project scope.

No downloadable website files are sent. Everything is accessed via live links or delivered within your Squarespace account.

Please make sure your email address is entered correctly at checkout so you receive all delivery materials.

All digital product sales are final and non-refundable. Refunds will not be granted for the following reasons:

• Changing your mind after purchase

• Not understanding how to use Squarespace

• Overlooking or skipping the product description

• Platform updates that affect template behavior

• Existing site code that causes conflicts

• Minor bugs, typos, or design quirks

• Deleting the template from your account

• Declining or ignoring template support

• Simply requesting a refund

If you’re unsure whether a product is right for you, please reach out before purchasing. If you’re experiencing an issue post-purchase, contact us at hello@wellmadesites.com—we’re happy to help.

We provide support for:

• Template access issues or missing delivery emails

• Questions related to included tutorials or editable assets

• Troubleshooting problems directly related to our custom code

We do not provide support for:

• General Squarespace issues or customer service

• Editing Canva, Google Docs, or other external materials

• Advanced template modifications outside the scope of original design

• Issues related to other third-party code or tools

All custom styling used in our templates and client websites is hosted externally on GitHub, which allows us to update code easily as Squarespace evolves.

If a platform update impacts your template or custom website:

• You must notify us of any visual or functional issues

• If the issue relates to our hosted code, we’ll address it and push updates within 2 business days (Mon–Fri)

• The fix will apply automatically to your site—no action needed on your end

If the issue is caused by Squarespace directly (e.g., system bugs, deprecated features, internal code limitations), we’ll do our best to guide you, but we cannot guarantee resolution.

Note: Well Made Sites is not responsible for issues caused by third-party scripts, platform-wide outages, or Squarespace’s internal changes that fall beyond our control.

We offer an affiliate program that allows individuals to earn commissions by referring others to our Squarespace templates. By signing up, affiliates agree to the following:

Affiliates earn 20% commission on each qualifying sale made through their unique referral link. Commissions are paid monthly via Paypal, based on confirmed purchases that have not been refunded. We reserve the right to reject or remove affiliates at our discretion, especially in cases of misleading promotion, spam, or misrepresentation of our brand.

Affiliates must clearly disclose their relationship with Well Made Sites in all promotions, in accordance with FTC guidelines. Commissions may be withheld or reversed in cases of fraud, chargebacks, or violation of these terms.
